It is the process of direct burning of wastes in the presence of excess air (oxygen) at high temperature (about 800 Deg. C) liberating heat energy, inert gases and ash. Net energy yield depends upon the density and composition of waste, percentage of moisture and inert materials, which add to the heat loss, ignition temperature, size and shape of the constituents etc. Combustion results in transfer of 65-80% of the heat content of the organic matter into hot air, steam and hot water.

SOT Incinerators are designed with most practical approach looking at Indian Conditions. We do not boost of Technical Collaboration but believe in Technology suitable to Indian conditions. Be it a Housing Society, a Hotel, a Hospital, a Slaughterhouse, Poultry or an Industry. The Waste is bound to be there. How long we can have Dumping Grounds? A point to saturation is nearing. We have an answer is SOT Incinerators. SOT Incinerators are capable of incinerating all types of wastes. Be it a solid, Sludge, Liquid, Gas or Chemical waste. We also recommend & offer pollution control equipments as part of incinerators system and also provide fully automatic in operation.

The Complete Incineration process takes place at around 800 deg. C in Primary Chamber & 1050 deg. C in Secondary Chamber. Various safeties are added up, depending upon requirements to ensure foolproof systems. SOT Incinerators are normally available in ranges from 10kg/hr to 500kg/hr of different type of wastes, backed by SOT Gas & Oil Fired burners of highest combustions efficiency. Various Heat recovery systems are also offered to salvage the heat being wasted through chimney.

Advantages of Incineration:• Suitable for high calorific value waste (paper), plastics, hospital wastes etc â€¢ Units with continuous feed and high throughput can be set up â€¢ Thermal Energy recovery for direct heating/ power generation• Relatively noiseless and odorless• Low land area requirement and can be located within city limits. â€¢ Hygienic.

Disadvantages of Incineration:• Least suitable for high moisture content/ low CV wastes and chlorinated wastes. â€¢ Excessive moisture and inert content in waste affects net energy recovery; Auxiliary fuel support may be necessary to sustain combustion; â€¢ Toxic may concentrate in ash; In addition to particulars, SO2 and NOx emission, chlorinated compounds, ranging from HCI to organic-compounds such as a dioxins and heavy metals are a cause for concern, which requires elaborate pollution control equipment; and• High capital costs.
