Our Activities

Thermography is a technique that uses thermal imaging cameras to detect infrared radiation emitted by objects. Any object with a temperature above absolute zero emits infrared radiation, and the hotter the object, the greater the radiation it emits. The images captured by thermal cameras, known as thermograms, help visualize heat patterns, hotspots, cold spots, and temperature anomalies in a given area or object. The discovery of infrared radiation dates back to 1800 when astronomer Sir Frederick William Herschel observed temperature variations across different colors of light. By directing sunlight through a glass prism to create a spectrum and measuring the temperature of each color, he identified infrared radiation beyond the visible spectrum. Thermographic inspection, also known as Infrared Testing, is widely used to assess electrical systems, buildings, heating and steam equipment, pools, water and gas piping, and more. Compared to traditional inspection methods, thermography provides faster and more efficient results. One of its key advantages is that it is a non-destructive and non-contact testing method, meaning equipment can be inspected under normal operating conditions without requiring shutdowns.
