Incoloy 800 Flanges: High-Temperature Powerhouses for Industry

Incoloy 800 flanges (UNS N08800 / 1.4876), also known as Alloy 800, are nickel-iron-chromium forged components designed for superior performance in extreme heat and corrosive settings. With 30-35% nickel and 19-23% chromium, plus controlled aluminum and titanium, they deliver tensile strength of 520 MPa, yield at 205 MPa, and exceptional oxidation resistance up to 1100°C—ideal for resisting carburization, nitriding, and acids in sulfurous atmospheres.

Standards and Types

Manufactured per ASTM B564/ASME SB564, these flanges come as weld neck (for high-pressure flow), slip-on, blind (for sealing), socket weld, threaded, and lap joint types in sizes ½”–48” NB, classes 150#–2500#, with RF/RTJ faces meeting ASME B16.5/B16.47. Variants like 800H/800HT offer enhanced creep-rupture strength for prolonged exposure above 500°C.
